Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of the AworX platform. By creating an account or using any part of the platform, you agree to be bound by them. Please read them carefully.
Last updated: June 2025
Governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
1. What Is AworX
AworX is an online marketplace that connects project owners and clients with elite Arab creative professionals, including animators, directors, music composers, graphic designers, video editors, and more, across 40+ creative disciplines.
AworX provides the infrastructure for discovery, communication, project management, and secure payments. AworX is a facilitator, not a direct party to creative projects, unless explicitly engaged to act in that capacity under a separate agreement.
AworX does not guarantee the quality, timeliness, or fitness for purpose of any creative work delivered through the platform. It is the responsibility of each talent and client to evaluate the suitability of any engagement before proceeding.
2. Accounts and Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on AworX
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Keep your credentials secure and do not share access with others
- You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated
- Talent accounts require approval from the AworX team before becoming active. AworX reserves the right to approve or reject talent applications at its sole discretion
- You may not create multiple accounts or circumvent a suspension by registering a new account
AworX reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, our Community Guidelines, or that we have reason to believe poses a risk to the platform or its users.
3. How Projects Work
All projects on AworX follow a structured flow designed to protect both parties:
01Discovery
Client browses talent profiles and portfolios
02Discussion
Client and talent discuss scope, timeline, and deliverables via platform chat
03Request
Client submits a formal work request with budget and deadline
04Acceptance
Talent accepts (or declines) the request
05Escrow Payment
Client transfers the full amount to AworX | funds are held in escrow
06Execution
Talent works on the project; client may follow up via chat
07Delivery
Talent submits final deliverable through the platform
08Review & Release
Client reviews the work. On approval, payment is released to the talent
Payment is not released to the talent until the client actively approves the deliverable, or until 7 days pass after delivery without a revision request or dispute. At which point AworX may release payment automatically.
4. Platform Fees
AworX charges fees to sustain and develop the platform. All fees are disclosed clearly before payment is processed.
AworX Fees
Platform service fee (charged to client)15% of project value
Moyasar Payment Processing Fees
These fees are charged by our payment processor (Moyasar) and are separate from AworX fees:
Mada (Saudi debit)1%
Visa / Mastercard (credit)2.75%
International cards+1% additional
Refund or fraud chargeback1 SAR per transaction
Bank transfer (IBAN) payments to AworX escrow are the primary payment method on the platform. Moyasar card payment fees apply only when applicable gateway payments are used.
5. Intellectual Property
IP ownership depends on the project type agreed between client and talent:
Open Projects
- The core idea and concept belong to the project owner (client)
- The talent retains ownership of the specific artistic execution and any reusable assets they created as part of it
- AworX holds a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote the work on the platform and in marketing materials
Private Projects
- Full ownership of the deliverable transfers to the client upon payment release
- AworX retains a limited, non-exclusive license to display the work for platform documentation and service introduction purposes, unless the client requests otherwise in writing
Closed / Confidential Projects
- Full ownership transfers to the client upon payment release
- AworX does not display, reference, or use the work in any public-facing context
- Talent may not include the work in their portfolio without explicit written client consent
In all cases, the talent warrants that the work delivered is original, does not infringe any third-party intellectual property rights, and that they have the right to deliver it.
6. Revisions
AworX includes a structured revision system to ensure clients receive work that meets the agreed brief.
- 2 free revisions are included with every project
- A revision is defined as a request to modify, adjust, or correct work within the originally agreed scope. It is not a request for new or expanded scope
- Additional revisions beyond the 2 free ones are charged at 50% of the original package price each
- Revision requests must be submitted through the platform with clear, specific feedback. Vague requests such as “make it better” are not valid revision triggers
- The talent has the right to decline revision requests that constitute new scope rather than corrections
Scope creep, where a client repeatedly expands the project brief beyond what was originally agreed, is not covered under the free revision policy. Such changes should be negotiated as separate work requests.
7. Refund Policy
Refunds are handled according to the project type and the stage at which a cancellation occurs:
Open Projects
No refunds once payment has been placed in escrow. Open projects are collaborative and community-facing; the talent's time and preparation costs are incurred from acceptance.
Private and Closed Projects
Cancelled before talent begins work100% refund (minus transfer fees)
Cancelled during execution50% refund
Partial delivery receivedRefund for undelivered portion only
Work fully delivered and client approvedNo refund
Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the disputed delivery. AworX's determination on refund eligibility is based on platform records (messages, deliverable timestamps, revision history) and is final unless successfully appealed.
8. Talent Obligations
- Maintain an accurate, up-to-date profile that honestly represents your skills and experience
- Accept only work you have the capacity, skills, and time to complete to a professional standard
- Communicate proactively with clients about project progress, delays, or any issues that arise
- Deliver original work that does not infringe third-party intellectual property rights
- Process all payments exclusively through AworX | direct payment requests are a violation of these terms
- Maintain availability information honestly. Do not accept projects when marked as unavailable
- Keep client project information and files confidential beyond the scope of the project
9. Client Obligations
- Provide a clear, detailed project brief before or at the time of submitting a work request
- Transfer the escrow payment promptly upon accepting a talent's quote to allow work to begin
- Review delivered work in good faith and within a reasonable timeframe
- Submit revision requests that are specific, actionable, and within the original agreed scope
- Release payment once work has been genuinely approved. Withholding approval without legitimate reason is a violation of these terms
- Process all payments through AworX | offering or making direct payments to talents is a violation that may result in account suspension
10. Disputes
AworX encourages parties to resolve disputes directly through good-faith communication in the platform chat. If a resolution cannot be reached:
- Either party may raise a formal dispute by contacting AworX support at support@aworx.net
- AworX will review all platform records. Messages, deliverables, revision history, and payment logs. To make a determination
- Escrow funds will remain held until the dispute is resolved or a determination is made
- AworX's determination is binding on both parties within the platform context, though parties retain their rights under applicable Saudi law
AworX is not a legal arbitration body. For disputes involving significant sums or legal claims, we recommend seeking independent legal counsel. AworX cooperation with lawful court orders is always forthcoming.
11. Liability Limits
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- AworX is not liable for the quality, accuracy, safety, or legality of content posted by users or work delivered by talents
- AworX is not liable for delays, non-delivery, or project failures caused by either party
- AworX is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform
- AworX's total liability in connection with any dispute shall not exceed the total fees paid by the relevant user to AworX in the 6 months preceding the claim
- AworX is not responsible for downtime, data loss, or service interruptions resulting from third-party provider failures (Supabase, Moyasar, etc.)
12. Prohibited Uses
- Using AworX to create or distribute illegal, harmful, hateful, extremist, or adult content
- Circumventing the escrow system or arranging any form of direct payment
- Scraping, reverse-engineering, or attempting to extract data from the platform
- Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the platform
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or platform systems
- Engaging in coordinated manipulation of ratings, reviews, or platform visibility
13. AI-Generated Content and Disclosure
AworX recognizes that AI tools are increasingly part of modern creative workflows. Their use is permitted on the platform, subject to the following disclosure rules:
- Talents must clearly disclose any substantial use of AI tools in a deliverable at the time of delivery (e.g., in the delivery note)
- Clients may require fully human-made work by stating this in the work request. By accepting such a request, the talent agrees to that condition
- Presenting predominantly AI-generated work as entirely human-made is a violation of these terms and may result in revision requests, refunds, or account suspension
- The talent remains fully responsible for ensuring that any AI-assisted deliverable does not infringe third-party rights and complies with the licenses of the tools used
AworX does not guarantee the detection of AI-generated content and makes no warranty regarding the copyright status or ownership of AI-generated material, which may be limited under applicable law. Evaluating the suitability of AI-assisted work remains the responsibility of the client and the talent.
14. Changes to These Terms
AworX may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in the platform, our business, or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of AworX after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the platform and close your account.
